In recent years, BMBP has provided professional conferences, breastfeeding billboards, and promotions of World Breastfeeding Week.

Our members come from all walks of life. Anyone is welcome to join our partnership. Members may be professionally affiliated or simply a person very interested in breastfeeding promotion. 

Meetings usually held every 4th Wednesday at 1:00 PM.

Our Background

Bismarck Mandan Breastfeeding Partnership (BMBP) was founded in 1998 to promote, educate, and support breastfeeding.  Anyone interested in supporting breastfeeding may join!  Members consist of IBCLC's, Certified Lactation Counselors and other health professionals, including nurses, dietitians, and nutritionists.  Community organizations represented include local clinics and hospitals, local and state health departments, WIC and educational institutions.
